Hi everyone,
- Intel Chipset Drivers :
Install/Update Process :
Launch "CHIPSET_Intel_vxx.x.xxxxx.xxxx.exe"
- Intel MEI Drivers (Drivers Only) :
Install/Update Process :
Launch "Install.cmd" by right-click Run as admin > Automatic restart when install is done
- Intel VMD Drivers (Drivers Only) :
Install/Update Process :
- Press Windows key + X > Device Manager > Right-click on your Intel VMD device > Update driver > Browse my computer for driver software
- Browse... > Select the extracted drivers folder (VMD_Intel_v...) > Next
OS requirements : Windows 10 64 bit or more recent.
Hardware requirements : Motherboards with Intel 6xx/7xx series chipsets.
TIPS :
If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).
If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

thanks so much Guess what! remember the pain of patch last tuesday. MS install old drivers also. i run what you mentioned above menus the uninstaler since i did not use the Soft Pack. If i want to check the chipset what i need to look.
NOTE: i also notice that for 13th gen is the old one. I did check my z690 with 13th (13900k) and looks ok with 10.1.19468.8385. What i need to look on the pc that will not be ok.
Thanks Mokichu

Hi,
If you're using a Raptor Lake (13th Gen) CPU and you initially installed the Intel Chipset Drivers v10.1.19284.8351 or older and that you have upgraded them to a version between 10.1.19376.8374 WHQL and 10.1.19468.8385 WHQL, follow this process :

Hi MoKiChU!
If I try to follow those 4 steps, my Windows will just BSOD when doing the "Delete Driver" option from Driver Store Explorer.
I am unable to install non of the Intel Chipset Drivers... they all BSOD on me.
What else to try to fix this?
Asus ProArt Z790-CREATOR WiFi in here, with 13900K.

Hi @MoKiChU,
Is it still unsafe to install the latest drivers from Intel for the Raptor Lake platform, they seem to be including Raptor Lake components in: 10.1.19468.8385 WHQL. Are they aware of the VMD/RST BSOD problem? Is there anywhere we can submit feedback or contribute for a fix? Also thank you for your hard work and keep us all updated.

Hi,
Here is the current situation regarding Intel Chipset Drivers and Raptor Lake (13th Gen) CPU on motherboards with Intel 6xx/7xx series chipsets :
10.1.19263.8344 WHQL (raptorlakesystem.inf v10.1.49.6) : OK
10.1.19284.8351 WHQL (raptorlakesystem.inf v10.1.49.7) : KO (BSOD issue)
10.1.19376.8374 WHQL to 10.1.19468.8385 WHQL (raptorlakesystem.inf v10.1.49.9) : OK

I have had 10.1.19468.8385 installed on my 13900K system since May now, is it all of a sudden a "Alder Lake Only" Chipset driver? I have had no issues with it.
Hi,
If you updated from Intel Chipset Drivers v10.1.19263.8344 WHQL (or older) to Intel Chipset Drivers between 10.1.19376.8374 WHQL and 10.1.19468.8385 WHQL, do you have in your DriverStore (check with Driver Store Explorer) two different versions of the same driver which are both used by different devices ?
- raptorlakesystem.inf v10.1.49.6 for the Intel(R) Crashlog - A77D device
- raptorlakesystem.inf v10.1.49.9 for the Intel(R) PCIe RC 060 (x4) G4 - A74D device

raptorlakesystem.inf v10.1.49.9 for the Intel(R) PCIe RC 060 (x4) G4 - A74D device
Is the only one there named raptorlakesystem.inf
I updated from v10.1.19444.8378 (before that 10.1.19263.8344)

Hi,
Thank you for your feedback Simk1n.
2 users have reported to me left device with an yellow exclamation mark in their Device Manager with the hardware ID PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A77D following a clean install of Windows and the install of Intel Chipset Drivers v10.1.19468.8385 WHQL. The common point between the 2 people who reported to me this issue is that they both use Windows 10 while Windows 11 is recommended for Alder Lake/Raptor Lake.
So, I have rolled back the version of the thread, as you have seen, while I learn more about this issue and if their issue is due to actions specific to these users, or if more people are concerned.
So you confirm to me that you only have raptorlakesystem.inf v10.1.49.9 for the Intel(R) PCIe RC 060 (x4) G4 - A74D device in your Driver Store Explorer and that you don't have any left device with an yellow exclamation mark in your Device Manager ? Also, are you using Windows 11 (as recommended for Alder Lake/Raptor Lake) or Windows 10 ?

Hi @MoKiChU ,
I have Z790 Hero with 13900k, Windows 11 system TPM and VMD enabled as default but no remap for VMD. Other than that GNA device is enabled. BIOS: 1202, ME: 16.1.27.2176. Uninstalled previously installed CHIPSET_Intel_v10.1.19263.8344 and deleted anything system related from the driver store. Clean installed CHIPSET_Intel_v10.1.19468.8385. So far so good no problems and no exclamation mark.
