Hi all,
Could someone help me please?
My configuration is:
CPU: Intel Core i9 13900KS
MB: ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 EXTREME, BIOS latest version 2102, date 15 March 2024
https://rog.asus.com/au/motherboards/rog-maximus/rog-maximus-z790-extreme-model/helpdesk_bios/
SSD: Samsung 990Pro
PSU: Seasonic Prime TX Series 1000W
Windows 11
I had DDR5 F5-6400J3239G16GA2-TZ5K memory it has been working on XMP II on 6800 without any issues for a half year.
Recently I got G.SKILL DDR5 F5-8400J4052G24GX2-TZ5RW 48GB (2 x 24GB) memory.
The issue is the 8400 memory is not able to work on 8400Mh. If I pick XMP
and XMP II profiles I get Windows Blue Dead Screens.
The 8400 memory works stable only on 5600Mhz. (Jedec #10 according to CPU-Z)
XMP 1_1
XMP 1_2
Thank you!

Hello, the Z790 Extreme is not validated for those speeds, and this memory kit will not be on the vendor memory QVL.
You can try:
1) Lower frequency to 7200-8000MT
2) Set XMP II
