Computer wakes up on its own every hour

My computer is suffering from insomnia.  It seems my computer periodically wakes up from sleep (according to the event viewer, from the power button) even though my computer is in my room where I sleep and is impossible to mess with unless I myself wake up.  I don't see an option in the BIOS settings to disable USB wake support like with most other motherboards.  What are the common reasons this may be happening?

Check your network settings in device manager. There's a tab to prevent the device from waking the computer. You will need to look to see what to disable.

Looks like that was it.  My NIC was waking up the computer for no reason because after unplugging the cable it stopped doing that.

There should be a tab under network in device manager with power options. Might be there and you won’t have to unplug the net cable. In that power management tab, you should find a selection to allow the device to wake the computer. Just uncheck that.

Check the connector on the motherboard for the power button, make sure its not loose.  How old is your case / power button?  Maybe it could use a cleaning with some electronics cleaner.
