With everything going on with intel i figured i would update my bios as i have done many times before. after the bios flash finished i tried to boot my pc and all i got was a black screen and the red CPU light staying on i let it try its thing for a good bit then decided it was not working so i had to force shut down and try to start it again.

same thing happened so i had to flash a previous working version on bios back onto the pc to get my pc to boot up everything is working after i did that but on an older version any subjection's on what i did wrong or what could have happened to occur this problems and anything i can do to fix this is the future.

All I know is that I downloaded 2503 when it was beta and installed it. Worked fine on my Strix Z790-E. I'm assuming that what's out there right now should be the same?

Die Fassung ist erst rechtskräftig geworden, sonst nichts!

I had the same. But I updated bios to the previous version then it started. Then I updated to 2503 and it started! I hope that it will help you. rog strix Z790-H

BIOS 2503 definitely has issues and is unstable. I had to flash back to the 2402 BIOS and now everything is normal again.

I had exactly the same, but with a Z690 Hero, 12900K and BIOS 2802. Black screen every time I tried to enter the BIOS unless I turned off the PSU every time first. I've downgraded my BIOS and everything is OK again.
