bios options memory configuration banks and banks per group

Hi,

I found out theres from the pull down menu of 3 options on the memory configuration, first option, the size per memory bank as in 8/16/32gb, second options, how many banks, this made also  sense, 1, 2, 3, 4

Then the third pulldown menu gave how many banks per group and it showed 2, 4, 8, how does this fit ?  How can it option 8 ?

I know in cpuid cpu-z it showed channels 4x 32 bit at the memory TAB,

https://www.kingston.com/datasheets/KF556C40BBK2-32.pdf

https://www.asus.com/motherboards-components/motherboards/prime/prime-z690-p/

https://www.positioniseverything.net/1rx8-vs-2rx8/ < I could not find anything on the 4x 32-bit in relation,

Would this ment to be as the cpu-z_mem_tab.jpg

DDR5 module combining 2x 32bit "controllers" on itself ?? and hence therefore giving option on the memory configuration for 8 ??

Because 8 does not makes any sense to me, since it has only 4 BANKs to put DDR5 in.

Can anyone make logic of having the option of 8 ?

DDR5 has 2 32-bit channels per bank.  I.e. a single DIMM has 2 32-bit channels.  Desktop platforms have 4 channels total, 2 channels for bank A and 2 channels for bank B.

DDR4, for comparison, had 1 64-bit channel per bank, and 2 total channels on desktop platforms (1 each for banks A and B).

Sow your actually telling me, without words, that this picture makes as little sense to me as to you ? Or using 2 BANK i should set 4 to perfect the dual channel idea ? Why does it show option 8 BANK GROUPS ? It would make 2x32 BIT per BANK making a 4 bank group for optimized dual channel?

2 banks 16GB, who does this fit the 8 group, I could try but screwing my pc resetting it is a hassle.2 banks 16GB, who does this fit the 8 group, I could try but screwing my pc resetting it is a hassle.
