BIOS 3302

Any experiences so far with the full release (not the Beta)?

I want to upgrade, but doing critical stuff for work for another 10 days, so can't afford any issues. Think I'll wait anyway, but would be interested to know if this BIOS is working OK for people. Thanks.

Hello friend!
well, I would also like to know this, now I just caught a bad silicon with a score of SP 67 at 14700k. But I would also like to ask if it is possible to upgrade to the previous bios in the event of a problem after upgrading to BIOS 3302?

Good question, I'd also like to know if possible to downgrade...

Hi,

I run the ROG STRIX Z690-F GAMING WIFI and have successfully downgraded from 3302 to 3101.

Thanks - did you downgrade because of any issues?

I ran into some issues restarting the system after the upgrade. After a few attempts, I managed to get it to boot to Windows though it 'blue screened' and I was back at the BIOS.

I run XMP and I think that was contributing to the issue. After some further tweaking and restarts, I thought it was best to revert to 3101... XMP is back on, and all is working well.

From 3302 to 3101. I also changed it back, my system got stuck on error code 53 from time to time, when restarting. but the function called IA CEP is not a bad solution and it works. Personally, I like it and find it useful. I think the 3302 bios still needs polishing.

I'm on 3302 since 3 days and have no issues, everything seems to be same as before and system runs great so far.

Yesterday, I updated to BIOS 3302 on a Z690F with an i7 12700KF,  XMP 1 5200 RAM and an AI overclock @ 5300MHz, and it seems to be working fine.

But then, I seem to be one of the lucky ones, and have not had any problems with my system since I built it over 2 years ago.

Have a Good One! 😎

I will downgrade to 3101, since running 3302 games start with 5fps, need force quit, then they work normally. Unexpected crashes of games that never happened before.
