BIOS 3302

Any experiences so far with the full release (not the Beta)?

I want to upgrade, but doing critical stuff for work for another 10 days, so can't afford any issues. Think I'll wait anyway, but would be interested to know if this BIOS is working OK for people. Thanks.

Z690 Hero, 12900K, BIOS 3603, MEI 2407.6.1.0, ME Firmware 16.1.32.2418, 7000X Case, RM1000x PSU, ASUS TUF OC 3090TI, 2 x 16GB Corsair RAM @ 5200MHz, Windows 11 Pro 23H2, Corsair H150i Elite AIO, 4x Corsair RGB fans, 3x M.2 NVME drives, 2x SATA SSDs, 2x SATA HDs.

Glad I could help 🙂 I think resetting to default and rebooting is the key.

Yes I made the same experience. On the other hand I would suggest to reset the BIOS every time u make a Firmware update. New codes, new settings. Otherwise many possibilities to get counter-impacts from pre-made changes on new features and voltages, etc.
My BIOS works like a charm since 2 weeks (fingers crossed lol)

Here's a strange thing:

For a while now, (at least a few days) my aRGB light strips had stopped responding in Armoury Crate. iCue has also been unable to complete software updates - I was sure this was related to the fact that my light strips could no longer be detected and also in iCue, the normal motherboard options had vanished. HWInfo was still detecting motherboard sensors normally though. This might have happened since I updated the BIOS to 3302 the other day, that's really the only recent change that I've made.

I was going to do a complete Windows reinstall to try and fix things, but I just installed the latest ME Firmware 16.1.30.2361 from MoKiChU and as soon as I rebooted, the light strips were working properly and iCUE/Armoury Crate are also working normally again. I didn't expect that, but it seems like more than a coincidence. I know it seems unlikely, but I do suspect that BIOS 3302 caused the issue. All good again since that ME firmware update.

Might not be totally relevant but I am suffering something similar but I don't user Armoury Crate. In the last month or so, my RGB fans only light up sometimes. Don't know exactly when it happened. Just one day I noticed they were off but occasionally they come back on.

Not sure if it's the same issue. My RGB fans were still working fine (powered by iCue) through a USB motherboard connection. However, my lights plugged into the RGB and ARGB motherboard headers were running (lighting up and doing their own thing), but I had no control over them. They couldn't be detected at all, either by Armoury Crate or iCue. Very odd, but everything running fine again now. Could be a coincidence, but they were OK again after the firmware update reboot.

I moved to 3302 when it came out without issue. I always reset to defaults before applying the new BIOS and that appears to serve me well.

I have an issue with the resolution of the BIOS and the boot logo on Z690 E, it started a couple of BIOS versions ago.
