Just noticed that this new BIOS has just been released. I'll probably try it over the next few days and provide some comments here...
Always good to know what others think.

I have a z690 gaming wifi d4 mboard with 12700kf cpu . I've been using an oc'ed bios file since I bought this mobo and Is prime95 rock stable . With previous bios version, my oc'ed file is working flawless but with this version when I load the oc'ed version it's not working unless I just use the default settings.
What seems to change with this newest bios version? I still cannot pinpoint the fault ?

Do you mean that you are applying the BIOS settings from a saved config file? They don't always transfer well from one BIOS to another, so that might be the problem. Probably best to go back to defaults and then set it up again and save a new settings file.

If your mobo got an asus profile under bios, you can save a profile copy ".CMO" or save a new text file. It's all good now. I've manually put the bios settings and saved it. It's 100% working.

Good to know it's OK. Haven't seen any bad BIOS reports yet.

Similar issue on my strix Z690i. It can only pass Cinebench R23 with default settings. When I try to apply OC profile (I maunally input OC settings instead of my saved *.CMO file), it cannot pass the benchmark at all. My OC profile was quite stable on 2703 and 2602. After rolling back to 2703 and clearing CMOS, the OC profile works again.
***** Update: I found the cause of OC profile issue. New BIOS mandatory apply a much higher voltage (around 1.45V) than default (1.35V) to Core Voltage when I apply +0.1GHz to all core freqency of 13900KS or change cache/ring freqency. It makes the system unstable. In comparison, previous BIOS 2703 keeps core voltage as the default value.
Lowering "Actual VRM Core Voltage" in BIOS (minus offset) or performing OC in Intel XTU application can resolve the core voltage issue.

Interesting, I'm just on defaults apart from XMP and a PCH voltage reduction, so I just checked my CPU core voltage in OCCP and it shows a max of 1.288V. From memory, I don't think there has been any change for me - but I'm not overclocking, so I guess that explains it.

My old oc setting is working with this latest bios version. What i did is that reverted back to 2703 anf save a new bios name that is a txt file format. Printed that one , updated to 2802 and manually out the bios settings. All working fine now. Even my ddr4 3600 32gb mems is running at 4000ghz and is also memtest stable.

I had the same problem, also when doing the manual OC configuration in RAM with identical values it did not turn on the PC I had to go back to the previous version 2703 I have a Strix Z690-F
