Bios 2103 cannot be installed on Z690 Formula

Hi all,

I'm on the 12900ks. Never had issues updating bios using EZ in setup. However it reboots immediately whenever I try updating the downloaded Bios (in C drive). Renamed the file but no use. Anybody got it working?

You dont have to rename any file. Just extract the file with an extension .CAP into your C drive. Go to bios EZ and choose that particular bios.

Thanks for the quick reply. I also tried as is, unrenamed but it would reboot too. 😞

Update: I put the file on a SD/thumbdrive and it updated!
