#ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 EXTREME
#Z790
#BIOS
I had to revert back (again like with Bios 1202) version 0904 to get the WiFi / BluTooth Card and LAN chip/ports working.
I would urge both the ASUS the Software engineers to have a Heart to Heart with the Hardware engineers so code gets written and linked to the correct library and ports and that those do not randomly change with an update.
PLEASE FIX the second Bios after the 0904 so it can be used on this ASUS FLAGSHIP of a Motherboard.
Please refrain from the B.S. reply or question, why did you update if everything is running OK. Read the bloody info of any such new BIOS as itself states the reason(s) why anyone would update and get it FIXED. Thank you kindly.
ROG MAXIMUS Z790 EXTREME BIOS 1303
"1. Recommended for vital update to mitigate the potential security vulnerabilities
2. Improve system performance
Updating this BIOS will simultaneously update the corresponding intel ME to version16.1.27.2176. Please note after you update this BIOS, the ME version remains the updated one even if you roll back to an older BIOS later.
Before running the USB BIOS Flashback tool, please rename the BIOS file (MZ790E.CAP) using BIOSRenamer."

cut the attitude and can you actually say whats wrong? i've never heard of this issue on any bios. you may need to contact support as you might have a defective motherboard.
if you contact support i would drop the smartass persona. good luck with your issue.

Not much value to your reply or feedback that you never heard of such. Doesn't mean it never happens. I am flagging this as it did happen.
There is nothing wrong with my hardware as proven when rolling back the Bios.
Who has an attitude here?
