My Machine: 13900K, 790 Hero, 32GB 7200 GSKILL kit
Just a FYI. This latest bios is not stable with XMP enabled for me. I had to roll back to 0816 where I run XMP tweaked with no issues. I updated Intel ME as well so I know that isn't the issue.

Mine changed as well. I guess they just wanted to change the design.

I see. Too bad, i liked the "old one" better than this new red rog logo

Same for me. Every BIOS after 0816 has not been stable on my Z790 Hero. 0816 is great for setting XMP I and leaving it.
Every BIOS after would cause many system crashes for me during light and heavy games. All drivers up to date.
Flashing back to 0816 and setting XMP I is stable.
I hope Asus focuses on this for next BIOS update.

Hi,
Stil using FF3D532G720 memory kit in your signature?
Is XMP II stable on later BIOS?

Hi Silent_Scone,
Yes, still using FF3D532G720 which appears in the supported hardware on the Asus site for this mobo. Everything is up to date in my signature.
I only tried XMP I as I've read it's good to use if memory is on the QVL. I have read a lot of mixed comments around XMP profiles, so honestly, I don't know which to ultimately use and probably should have tested the other profiles.
I figured if XMP I is unstable that the BIOS may have overall instability. Maybe a bad assumption as I don't know enough about XMP :P. Seems though many have had issues with BIOS updates after 0816.
