Hello,
Simple problem, i have aforementioned motherboard, comes with DTS Sound Unbound licence, which worked on this Windows at 1st PC setup, but after testing, I decided to stick to Dolby Atmos for surround in games and removed the DTS apps and drivers, disabling audio from bios.
After seeing the new updates in the last 3 months, installed it again, following MoKiChUs Realtek/DTS post advice, full clean, reinstall using the Realtek USB Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS Legacy) version + MS Store DTS/SonicS3 apps. Sound works at basic level but DTS will not give me the license nor could I choose DTS:Headphones at Spatial sound settings.
Tried MS store login/out, plug headphones in/out, re-login and such tricks. None worked. Never format or reinstall windows since. MS Store no software included with device.
I now activated the Free Trial as some stated it might work after activating it, but it did not give me "forever" license. Sound works as intended now though, proper surround. But It expires in 14 days.
Anyone know any tricks or steps to get my DTS license back on track and active?
