I reset my bios to defaults and load intel defaults (performance) settings which do 372A/58W/89W power limits on my 12100F. Is this correct for this cpu?
Then to downclock my cpu I changed "Performance Core Ratio" to 39 and saved. After boot in Windows I notice the power settings are also reset to 511.75A/4095W/4095W even tho they are on Auto in bios and when saving settings bios only showed change to performance core ratio NOT power limits. And maybe it changes other things too I don't know because it doesn't tell the user it is doing this.
I think it might even damage cpus with these kinda values.
