Asus Z790 MB new BIOS released version 1202

A new BIOS has just been released for the Z790 based MB's. Release notes are:

1. Improve system stability and compatibility for the next-gen processors
2. Fix the compatibility and instability issues when configuring RAID for high-capacity storage
3. Do update the intel ME to version 16.1.27.2176

A pin can bend after enabling xmp? Cause dont forget that all this happend the moment i change to XMP for the first time.

No, pins can bend if you force the CPU into the socket or damage them with something. you can check with a magnifier.

I dont think this is the case for me. Since i changed the motherboard and took a good look to my CPU. Also PC was working fine for the first two months. It is definently the XMP tha messed the system up. 750w PSU can support i913000k gpu: GeForce RTX 4080 ROG STRIX OC 16 GB 2 ram 32gb and the z790 e gaming? what do you think? Currently i have 1200w but i consider changing it to check if the PSU is the problem.

I typically change and replace my components to find my main issue if I have parts, so you can try the same.

In my opinion, I don't see anything wrong with your power supply based on the descriptions and issues you have provided here.

There is something wrong with your CPU based on the pictures you also provided.

When a CPU is not sitting well on a socket or there are bent pins, that will cause many issues, and RAM is one of them.

Or the worst possible scenario is that you may have a faulty CPU, and it will be better if a professional checks that for you.

Hello once again. Going crazy here. I just changed the CPU and i have the same issue. The only thing left is the PSU that i didnt change. What else could it be that i havent tried? Should i try once more to do a format?

Hello, sorry to hear that.

I was not worry for that CPU and I tried to tell you and that CPU was a lottery win... Sigh! 

Did you check your motherboard socket and pins?

If there is no bent then you have to make sure your CPU is sitting perfectly on the socket and your cooler is also have a good contact with RIGHT side the CPU. 

 Enough pressure, enough thermal paste, etc.

Your Power supply should be fine but do whatever you need and I know you will fix it soon.

Hey, requested a return on the PSU as well. Lets see. If its not that i dont have a single clue what it can be. It all began after i XMP the through the motherboard. I even installed the Windows to a differnt disk driver to exlude that as well. Do you have problems with windows 11? Should i try to install windows 10?

Yes, I will also test my system with windows 10 and yes win 11 is kind of new and has some issues.

Did you check your computer with Bitdefender and Malwarebytes?

XMP would be safe and does not harm a system like that.

You may notice your computer is not stable, or it keeps failing to boot or restarting by itself, displaying a blue screen of death (BSOD), High CPU, Memory, Motherboard's temperature, etc.

Not showing wrong information about a CPU cache or cores, like you have.

You already changed your CPU, mainboard, and memory.

Is this normal you still have the same issue after all your replacements?

Did you use XMP again after that?

Did you overvoltage your CPU or memory manually in the BIOS or just use an XMP profile?

The thing is, the new Intel socket is kind of $&#@, and you should be so careful to install it correctly and also know how to install your cooling system on it.

Hey my friend, after changing the PSU same thing. I was desperate and i was changing stuff around. I even changed the monitor if you can imagine my desparation.
