I have my Exteme board connected via optical to a Yamaha home audio receiver. The problem is when I go to play a song, the audio doesn't kick in until after the song starts. Therefore, you actually miss the first part of the song. I've tried reloading the Realtek drivers, tried the native Microsoft drivers, tried 3 different Receivers, and swapped out the optical cable and it still exhibits the same problem. I also noticed the Receiver front display actually flashes once when I go to play the song ..... almost like there is some type of initial glitch in the optical signal that it's receiving.
Anyone else have or seen this problem?
