Hi SOGOKU,

Not sure I fully understand, but can you access the BIOS at the moment? If you can, then try EZ Flash to update. If not, try to clear the CMOS for starters. Also, have you tried using the BIOS flashback port? Format your USB stick as MBR/Fat32 and make sure that the BIOS file has been renamed correctly.

It might also be that your BIOS file is corrupt. Try downloading it again.

Thanks John for trying to help. I pretty sure there are something wrong with the asus bios 602. I've updated hundreds of bios in my hardware life, motherboards and GPUs, since my first PC in 1996. Never bricked anything, or I have on GPUs but always achieved to unbriked them ! I know this is not totaly related, but just saying to show that I'm not new on this subjects. I redownloaded the BIOS, rename it with their own "renamer", then in bios "easy" flash I point to the file. Now there are 2 ends: or it crash ( get out of BIOS direct to boot ) or it says that the file is not a bios file. I'm going to wait a few weaks for a new bios, and see if this is fixed !

Hmm, that sounds odd. So I assume that you can use the machine at least and otherwise all is good? Yes, I think your plan is a good one. Still early days for the Z790 boards, so my guess is that a better BIOS will come along soon and that the update will work. Good luck.

PS My first PC was in 1996 as well lol
