Asus Strix Z790-F chipset M.2 sockets problem

Hello!

I'm having stability issues with my board whenever there is a M.2 NVME SSD connected to one of the M.2 socktes controlled by the chipset, it doesn't matter which one. I got BSODs, system freezes/shut downs. Sometimes, after the system restarts from a crash and I log on Windows, the NVME is missing/doesn't shows up in Windows Explorer. I have to turn off Windows and switch my PSU off and on again to get Windows to recognize the NMVE again.
I can't play games or run benchmarks even if the game/program installed on the M.2 NVME controlled by the CPU (M.2_1). All I can do is watch Youtube, NetFlix etc. Then, if I remove all NMVEs but the M.2_1 one from the motherboard, all problems are gone and the system becomes rock solid.

I'm running the latest version of Windows 11.

The issue happens on all BIOS versions. I'm on 2002 now but 2402 didn't help.

M.2_1 = WD SN750N 512GB with the latest firmware (GEN3x4)

On the other sockets I've tried 2 different drives:

XPG S70 Blade 512GB (GEN4x4)

WD SN770N 512GB (GEN4x4)

I'm starting to consider the defect is in the board...but the warranty is expired already.

I consider the matter solved...I've bought myself a new motherboard (Maximus Z790 Apex Encore) and there has been no problems ever since. The Strix has some deffect related to the M.2 sockets controlled by the chipset...can't RMA it because is out of warranty already 😞
