I am not able to boot with both XMP profile I, II or "Tweaked" enabled to utilize the full 8000mhz of my RAM.
The G.Skill 2x24 (48GB) DDR 8000 (F5-8000J4048F24GX2-TZ5RK) is listed as a supported set of DIMM's. They are installed in positions A2 and B2. When the XMP profiles are disabled the system runs smoothly but at a lower RAM speed. When I enable XMP I get Windows failure to boot or blue screens (not stable).
The motherboard is updated to the lastest firmware 0507
I suspect I need to manually assign voltages but I've never done this before. Can someone provide some guidance to get this stable?

Hi Vidarious,
8000MT is still quite tough on 2 DIMM per channel motherboards, hence why 8000MT is the maximum validation for the Strix. Enable XMP II and select DRAM from 7200-7600 to see where the motherboard rules allow system stability. The easiest method of tuning memory stability on Z790 is still the following:
Extreme Tweaker > CPU System Agent
Extreme Tweaker > Advanced Memory Voltages > Memory Controller Voltage
Extreme Tweaker > ADvanced Memory Voltages > IVR Transmitter VDDQ

Thank you for the reply. I enabled XMP II and did y-cruncher stress tests at 7200, 7400, 7600, 7800. Only 7200 performed 4 passes without issues. All others (7400/7600/7800) gave errors in the N63 test. I've attached an example screenshot from the 7400Mhz test.
I've done a full memtest with default BIOS (no XMP at all) and it passed with no issues - So I know the RAM is good overall.
Can you give a recommendation of the first setting I should start to play with and a few example values (assuming I'm aiming for 7800Mhz).

A new beta dropped here. Note this will update the ME Firmware, too.
