Hello Guys..

the internet is totally full with this issue, but i really dont know what i should do. Last xmas i buyed this pretty nice setup for me and since day one only problems and it getting worse and worse.. on the last bios update there was some fixes around which makes it better, but still not completly..

Here i was happy when intel mentioned they fixed the bug and asus dropped 2402, but after this its even worse.. 😞

Nearly every game which i want to start crash because out of memory or something like that (64gb DDR5 inside) ..

I put my bios settings to default, but it doesnt help alot.. does somebody has a idea, what settings could i use with 2402 that my system is getting a bit more stable.. really thinking about to rip it out and buying an AMD..

Thanks in advance,

Yes exactly, the 5500GHz that I wrote here a few days ago is probably the only thing that works for the time being.
As I said, I had to do this with 55x back in February and have been waiting for a working update ever since.

But I actually applied for an RMA with Intel today and got it approved.
However, I'm not sure if the new CPU still has the same problem.
Did Intel produce new 14s WITHOUT the error?
I mean, it is apparently not ONLY a software problem.

According to Intel, the culprit is a bug with ETVB behaviour that is due to be mixed in microcode. Can only suggest you update to this when it's released (mid August predicted timeline).

Hello @Krokro

yes, you was right in this case, but this shouldnt be a long term solution not for a 600€ CPU and a 700€ Board...
I applied as well to the RMA, they accept it also (what they told me) till now i have nothing in my hand...

But im not really sure if a new CPU has the same problems..:(

So Intel refused the RMA, seems so that this is a bit crazy, because the first person i contacted was a lady and after a few minutes i got disconnected from her and a guy was there, which directly accept it and also when i asked it.. "is it now stored like that.." yes yes it is..
Perhaps it will help somebody

Since this parameter is a generic term, we highly recommend that you seek assistance with your motherboard support to know where you can find those BIOS settings. Once you are done with the recommendation, we would like you to monitor your computer to see if you experience another system crash.

Also, we would like to let you know that this recommendation is to make your processor stable and there is still a possibility that this will work on your system.
