I have not measured consumption, so I observe it is negligible

Hello,

Bios 2305 is working great on the ROG Strix Z690-F Gaming Wifi.

Some good release notes with Bios 2305.

1) Improve system performance and security.

2) Support ME update function.

3) Improve AURA SW experience.

4) Improve Dram stability.

Not True.. Can no longer run 4 Sticks of Kingston Fury Beast at XMPII have to run stock 4000mhz or BSD.. with 2204 all was fine..

Aye! I'd suggest you rollback to 2204 or below with that trick mentioned in this forum or look in Overclock.net. There are detailed posts in how to do it but in your case, if your system is relatively stable, I'd just wait for another bios update and avoid all that hassle.

When I did that 2305 update, I could no longer go with 4 sticks as well... but then again, my MB got messed up badly and that update killed my CPU and 2 ram sticks.

Can't wait to hear from Asus support from my Formula motherboard RMA...

I've been using it since release, not issues, no improvements noticed so far

Z690 Extreme MB Owner here.

Update ran smoothly. The only thing that bothers me what didn't happen the previous BIOS Updates that my RGB Fans which are connected to the Mainboard and also the Backlight of the Mainboard changed back to default colors ( Rainbow ).

In the past I installed Armory Crate, changed it to my personal colors ( in this case just everything red ) , reinstalled the complete System and never touched/installed Armory Crate again. Everything colorwise worked like I wish and every previous BIOS Update never reset the colors, but this one did. Now I have to reinstall Armory Crate to change the colors back and now I also have to reinstall Windows, because Armory Crate installs too much undeletable Bloatware. I hate this Software so much!!!

690 Hero - just updated to BIOS 2305 and happy to report all seems well. Set XMP, PCH voltages to 0.92/0.76V as before. So yeah, so far, so good 😃 CPU might be drawing a little less power at rest (around 20-25W), but too early to be sure and PCH temp hasn't changed. No WHEA errors.
