Asus ROG Maximus Z790 hero eva-2 edition xmp issues

My specs: Asus Z790 Hero Eva-02, Intel 14900k, gskill trident 16×2 6000hz ddr5. I've tried to use xmp to get to the full 6000hz speed but it keeps crashing no matter which one I use. If I use auto it lowers it to 4000 hz. Am I doing something wrong? The bios is 2102 as well.

are you in the correct ram slots? A2 & b2 (slot 2 and 4)

It has to be in the second slots? Is there a reason why?

....because that is the correct set up for 2 sticks of ram on a motherboard that has 4 slots.
