My 4 x 32GB G.Skill DDR5 6400 CL32 was able to run on XMP1 with 5400MHz 1.325v on 1202 (Yes, only 5400MHz can run stably, never sucess higher than 5400MHz), after updated to 1303, can't even stable on 5200MHz, it can boot to Windows but all DX games (RE / Baldur's Gate 3) would be crash, can only playing games on default 4800MHz, so I have to rolled back to 1202, and able to run in 5400MHz again, very disappointed

uhhh interesting i have 4 sticks of the same model ram.  so as soon as i get up and running again i will have to try those settings thanks for posting.

also would love to hear from some ram expert why some games seem to be very very picky about ram speeds, and why others really don't care. i was able to run 2 sticks on xmp2 in pretty much anything. but Baldur's gate 3 specifically crashed multiple times every hour unless i dropped it all the way down to 3200mhz. and even at that speed it still crashed a few times per session... one thing that is really strange is the i am now on bios 0904 and even with a computer that's barely working that cant install any new software or drivers, bg3 is now seem to be 100% stable at 3200mhz so it does sounds like there has been a regression on stability with newer bios versions

Different data patterns result in different swings in current. Not to mention if the memory is unstable, it's going to be unstable in all workloads. Some will simply expose that instability quicker.

If you're planning on combining kits, you're going to be in for a rough ride regardless, focus on trying to get a single kit stable.

As usual ASUS breaks more than it fixes with it's bios update. My  Steelseries USB keyboard keeps turning on and off. I rolled back to 1202 and all good again. ASuS always had problems getting their USB's functioning correctly.

Hi all, I currently have bios 1202 installed and the pc works correctly. setup: Rog strix z790-f gaming wifi, i713700KF, Rog Strix 4080 OC Edition, Ram 2x16 GB DDR5 G. Skill 6000 Mhz. I have already updated Intel ME to the latest version using the tool. I've read some comments on this forum that the bios seems to be unstable for some and not for others, do you think I should update it or wait for a next update? Consider that I keep everything by default (auto-bios optimization) and also XMP enabled. I welcome answers and help from everyone, as gear I have: logitech superlight g pro x, logitech g pro x headset and Apex Pro TKL 2023 SteelSeries.

Mate I would hold off as you have the same keyboard as me

Oh really? what's your PC setup?

Other than the graphics card we are twins lol

Ok interesting, did you updated the firmware trough the SteelSeries engine software before updarting to the new Bios? because there is a new firmware for the keyboard and it was released this week.

Just Updated to 1303 but with PCI Express Native Power Management Enabled I still get WHEA errors.

In the event viewer I get Warning WHEA-Logger Event ID 17.

A corrected hardware error has occurred.

Component: PCI Express Root Port
Error Source: Advanced Error Reporting (PCI Express)

Primary Bus:Device:Function: 0x0:0x6:0x0
Secondary Bus:Device:Function: 0x0:0x0:0x0
Primary Device Name:PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A74D&SUBSYS_88821043&REV_01
Secondary Device Name:

Also in HWinfo i see the errors.
So I turned PCI Express Native Power Management off again and it fixed.

Have this problem since I got my motherboard ~10 months ago this error I get with or without GPU installed.
So also when 0 cards in my PC and use the GPU from my 13900K
