mine is,  z790-e gaming WIFI

make sure your file type is formatted to fat32

File type? you mean my USB stick Fat32?  and yes its formated in fat32

This happened to me when I extracted BIOS from ZIP file with Windows Explorer. Try WinRAR or another tool to unzip. I know it's strange, but it's true.

Updated;

all ok

what metod? Easy flash tool in Bios? or "flash bios" button?

I use EZ flash tool inside Bios;

Used usb pendrive Huperx 512MB fat 32

Turns out i am a dumbass i dont have "z790-e gaming WIFI" i have "z790-F gaming WIFI"...  updated ok

but problem with my

Kingston  (4x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL36 FURY Beast RGB AMD EXPO/Intel XMP 3.0

wont boot in EXP mode

getting 4 sticks to work at high speed in next to imposible right now sadly. you may have better luck then me as yours may be single sided ram and not dual... i have 4 32gb sticks and if i put all in its not even stable at 3200mhz so lately i have been forced to use only 2 sticks..  as far as i have heard this is a problem for all motherbords that support ddr5 both intel and amd and it may not even be a thing that can be fixed by a bios update and a completely new chipset may be needed if we ever hope to get 4 sticks working.

i installed the bios update in the hope of getting the sticks to work on my system but sadly i just f*** up my system instead... hope to hear from support soon as not being able to use most programs is pretty horrible

My 4 x 32GB G.Skill DDR5 6400 CL32 was able to run on XMP1 with 5400MHz 1.325v on 1202 (Yes, only 5400MHz can run stably, never sucess higher than 5400MHz), after updated to 1303, can't even stable on 5200MHz, it can boot to Windows but all DX games (RE / Baldur's Gate 3) would be crash, can only playing games on default 4800MHz, so I have to rolled back to 1202, and able to run in 5400MHz again, very disappointed
