Asus Prime Z690-P wifiD4 2x GPU's with 2.5 width slots?

Hi all,

I have had this board now for a year and currently have 2x RX580 Red Dragons fitted to it.  I don't use Crossfire., but i have multiple displays for use with P£D flight simulator.   I am wanting to upgrade my GPU's to 2x RX7700's or similar.  My present cards are 2 slot width each but the new cards will be 2.5 slots width each.

I would like to know if I would be able to fit two such cards to my board without any issues, due to the increased width and possibly blocking the slot for the second card.

Many thanks,

Rory

I'd say the only way to be sure is to obtain the exact card dimensions and take some measurements between the PCIe slots, taking into account the position of the connector on the cards and the surrounding cooling enclosures. Difficult to help otherwise.

Z690 Hero, 12900K, BIOS 4001, MEI 2433.6.3.0, ME Firmware 16.1.35.2557, 7000X Case, RM1000x PSU, ASUS TUF OC 3090TI, 2 x 16GB Corsair RAM @ 5200MHz, Windows 11 Pro 23H2, Corsair H150i Elite AIO, 4x Corsair RGB fans, 3x M.2 NVME drives, 2x SATA SSDs, 2x SATA HDs.
