ASPM for Asus ROG Strix Z690-A D4

Hi guys

I think BIOS 2802 Asus ROG Strix Z690-A D4 got issues with ASPM. It disconnects my SATA with error "disk x has been surprise removed." on Event Viewer after running about 15 mins. I've tried....

BIOS Default + Windows Power Options > Advanced > Link State Power Management with Moderate Power Savings = All disks SATA disconnected

BIOS Default + Windows LSPM disabled = same issue

This setting fixed the issue:

BIOS PCI Express Native Power Management = Enabled

Native ASPM = Enabled

DMI Link ASPM Control = Auto

ASPM = Auto

Windows Link State Power Management = Moderate Power Savings

No more SATA drives disconnects. I did not have any issues for earlier BIOS . I just leave these settings alone. Also, running Windows 11 23H2. I've reverted to 22H2 and issue still persists.

I'm also on 2802 and 23H2, but not had that happen. Not the same motherboard though. Thanks for the update, good to know.
