Anyone seen a preorder for this chip yet? I would think a bios update is necessary too. Haven't seen that either.

Congratulations Mr. Hopper, I grabbed one too.

Even though told myself wasn't going to buy from Newegg, Best Buy and Amazon didn't have a listing.

Got overnight shipping for $16, wooooooooooooo, be here tomorrow. 🙂

It was a "Silent Release", no official announcement by Intel the 13900KS even exists yet, had to go by the rumored launch date.

Agreed. Some of the stuff Newegg has done is unacceptable. They got caught by one of the guys at GN I think. It was fun to watch since I had the company do the same thing to me.

With Intel the rumors are always 95% accurate, lol yet we still call them rumors up until the time they happen.

Beautiful happenstance. 😛

Personally I would stay away from the KS as it needs some big cooling and even then it is still thermal throttling plus its expensive for just a very little performance gain.

Look at the price for me to buy down under in Australia forget it

No science background.

Doesn't understand binned CPUs

Jumps on a bandwagon of stupidity and enjoys the ride.

SP as below. Had to test memory again and decrease the SAV just a little bit.

by the way... 0805 is better than 0806?

that's way low than expected...
a "gold" one is ~130-ish SP nowadays... (because of yield stuff, VID lower and so on the max 100SP is obsolete now)
saw also on some asian live channels, SP varied between 103-109... which is really bad though for the money they ask (at least 200 US$/Eur extra)

a "good" raptor is one which can run Cinebench R20 5800MHz (E core disable) @ 1.3v...
