AIO Pump Can't Reach Max Speed

heyimben

My aio pump has a max speed of 4200rpm

The bios of my Apex Encore thinks max speed is 2500rpm

Based on my research there is no solution, the bios will never let it go above 2500. But if there is a solution please help!

In the mean time, I'm going to install the software for my aio so I can achieve max speeds, my question is, will this create any conflicts? The software is Lian Li L3

TY so mcuh!

it shouldn't create an issue considering the software will just take over the firmware.

if you cant set it to max rpm in software then something is wrong

I can set it to 4200 with Lian Li L3 and it matches HWInfo, just stinks having to run an extra program just for the aio pump. But oh well

Hi @heyimben

Have you ran Optimise All in Q-FAN Control?

I don’t recall seeing that. I’ll take a look and report back. Ty

So mine says Q-Fan Tuning. It made no difference after running. I’m assuming I have an older BIOS than you?

are you sure everything is plugged in correctly? or try updating bios.

Yup. Everything working perfectly with OEM software from Lian Li. 4200rpm. Pretty amazing.

I can have two bios on the encore. Maybe I’ll do that!

Well, I updated the bios. Thankfully everything is still completely stable. But the Asus bios still will not acknowledge the max speed of my aio pump. I've tried turning on ai. But still nope.
