Hi all
I've a Pc with a motherboard RogStrix Z790-e Gaming Wifi, a disk Samsung 980Pro 2To and a disk Cordair SSD 2"5.
I made this pc 3 months ago without problem. Today, I wanted to reinstall windows on my M2 and I took the oportunity to update the bios to the last version 1904. And the problem appeared : No disks in storage configuration in the bios. However, they appear in EZmode under "RAID" and I was able to install windows nevertheless. But it seem that something is wrong because under Samsung magician, NVME is not valide (N/A)
I went back to the bios and I disabled "Intel Rapid Storage". Now all my disk are visible in the bios in AHCI section for the SATA6 (SSD 2"5) and under NVME section for the Samsung M2.
I would like to install Windows again but before : Is this the right solution and could this cause a problem?
Thank you for your help 🙂
here some screen of the problem before my last manipulation :

Hi @lumat,
If not utilising RAID then there is no problem doing things this way as you're not utilising the Intel RAID Controller.
Did you use a saved CMO profile or start from scratch with BIOS settings?

Thank you for the answer
In fact, I loaded optimized settings in the bios, and IRS was set by default. This why I was wrong. It was not the case ion the previous version I used. I had not any problem at this time
