So, i am having this weird issue or maybe a bad ram? if I use 2 sticks of 32gb of ram @6400mhz gskill which are listed as supported in my z790-e motherboard I get a BSOD all the time. if I use just 1 stick everything seems fine. I tried without xmp but no luck with the 2 sticks.

is there something I can try or settings in bios?

Since it was somewhat working before and now is no longer recognizing the stick in the the A2 slot, it could be that the cpu cooler is too tight pushing some pins out of place.

Or, a possible faulty ram slot. In which case I'll have you contact ASUS technical support for further assistance.

I was unable to find a specific phone number for Aruba. Aruba is a country of the Netherlands, I also couldn't find a phone number for motherboard support, so I posted the one for servers and work stations. If this is the wrong phone number, they should redirect you.

ASUS Netherlands technical support phone number:

+31-(0)-591-570290 (Monday-Friday 08:30 - 17:00)

Let me know how you make out.

I think I got a bend pin like you said

Thank you for the picture.

This is why it's not booting with two sticks.

It looks like there could be two pins out of position. You can try straightening the pin(s) back into position with a tooth pick or a small pocket knife blade. Worst case scenario is the pins can snap off when trying to straighten them.

If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, you can take it to a pc repair shop, or a jeweler might do it for you.

Unfortunately, ASUS won't fulfill the warranty or do an RMA with bent cpu socket pins.
