Will there be a new bios release supporting 14-gen processors?
The latest bios I have for my apex cannot control voltages for my 14900k which results in instant 100'C and throttling to below 5,0GHz
Am I unlucky or will there be a bios release with some changes for the 14-get?

here on the forums.
TAKE NOTE there is no 14th cpu on the street unless you have confidencial one.
ALSO you have to eat the bugs since is beta. If you never deal with it stay away. the way is install is diferent
AGAIN: if you never deal with it DO NOT USE IT untill is public. SINCE STILL HAVE MORE TO WORK
USE on your own discretion.

Hello lamrogue
I imagine you have the ROG Maximus Z790 Apex.
I see there are two bios versions that support the next gen cpu's. Bios 1203 was the first to support the next gen cpu's, could give this one a try.

And also a beta bios 700 series chipset (the 2 test) that will be ready when 14th hit the market Oct 17 2023.
