1003 Bios update Z690

Just downloaded it. Looks like the microcode fixes for the AVX removal are there. I'm still trying to run 64gigs. Gonna see if this update helps at all.

I've been using Version 0811 since it released with zero issues, I updated to Version 1003 on the 27th and my games (Hell Let Loose & God of War) have been crashing consistently a few minutes into gameplay, low demanding games such as Cuphead have been fine. I even restarted my computer and received a BSOD.

I have since downgraded back to 0811 and all issues have stopped.

My Specs:
Prime Z690-A
i7 12700k
RTX 3080Ti
DDR5 RAM
Windows 11 latest updates

Just in case anyone else runs into the same issues as me.

Reporting in on my Z690-I.

BIOS 1003 has been a model of stability so far. It's allowed me to run my my G.Skill F5-6000U3636E16GX2-TZ5K kit at XMP I with some minor tweaks. This kit had given me problems with every other BIOS revision and would really only be completely stable at loosened XMP II timings.

My stuff operates under pretty brutal conditions with a 12700K and a 3080 Ti sharing a tiny 12.5L case with a custom loop, so it's been gratifying to see it running completely stable with this BIOS.

FYI I bought 64GBs of 6400MHz TForce, same issue, I live with 32GB for now 😛

Its not the motherboards faults, its the ram, this was discovered awhile ago. We will need to wait for 32GB mem sticks

Well its been several days now with lots of gaming and happy to report that my Corsair LPX DDR5 4800 64gb (4 x 16) is able to use XMP 1 but at a reduced ratio of 4533MZ which is better than before which was 4266MZ, anything over was a crash. So ASUS whatever you are doing with this BIOS keep doing it....

Can I ask you the exact model of your memory kit?
Are you using two 2x16 kit for a total of 64GB, or are you using one kit 4x16?

I can't find 4x16GB 4800MHz on Corsair's site.
Thanks

Hi there, I am using 4 x 16 of the Vengeance LPX 4800 DDR5 https://www.corsair.com/uk/en/Categories/Products/Memory/VENGEANCE-DDR5-Memory---Black/p/CMK32GX5M2A...
To clarify they did not come as 4 x 16, they come as 2 x 16, so I bought 2 packs of 2 x 16 if that makes sense...

Ok thank you for the answer 🙂
Last question if possible.
What are the voltages you are using?
SA, MC, VDD/VDDQ?

I finally got my GSKILL 6000 kit working and stable. Hardware in my signature. Bios 1101. Used cinebench R23 for CPU stability testing and passed fine. I noticed going from 0811 to 1101 there was a microcode update. I think that might be related to the decrease in cinebench score I noticed. Lost about 400-500 points in the multicore cinebench test with 1101. I think I saw this reported before but can’t remember the thread. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks!

Anyone knows if bios 1009 has the AVX512 option or there is no option at all?
