Hi,

I have a motherboard Asus Z590-PLUS and I have an issue with the pci e 4.0 and

my processor is an Intel i9-10900K CPU @ 3.70 GHz - 10th gen

When I open TechPowerUp GPU-Z ver. 2.38.0 it shows me that I am using PCI-Express x16 3.0 instead of PCI-Express x16 4.0, check the image below:

88280

How I can fix this issue ?

I wanna use PCI-Express x16 4.0 !

Thanks in advance.

Thanks a lot for the information, I have read the same answer today in another forum.

You may want to wait to make any decisions regarding the processor. I have a Z590 board coming soon and will be testing the 11th Gen on that. I was not happy with its performance on the Z490 board..

I got the Z590 board and the i9 11900k and I am happy with it. I am seeing a doubling in PCIe Bandwidth and M.2 PCIe drive.

I started out testing the 11th Gen on a Z490 board and was very disappointed. With the improvements I am seeing going to the Z590, I am glad I took that leap..

I never tested the 10th Gen on the Z590...

Must be nice getting PCIe x16 3.0 as I can only get x8 with pcie 3.0.
Using the asus gaming z590-plue wifi board, i7-10700k and rtx 3080.
Any tips to give that allowed you to get x16?

When you use the PCIe slot next to the GPU, the GPU slot automatically drops to 8x
