ROG Strix z590-E M.2 slots Problems

I have recently completed a new build and I am having some issues with my M.2 slots.

Specs:
ROG Strix z590-E
i5-11600k
G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2400
EVGA RTX 3070 Ti

The specs for storage are as follows:

Supports 4 x M.2 slots and 6 x SATA 6Gb/s ports
Intel®11th &10th Gen Processors*
M.2_1 slot (Key M), type 2242/2260/2280/22110
M.2_2 slot (Key M), type 2242/2260/2280/22110
- Intel® 11th processors support PCIe 4.0 x4 mode

I installed my Samsung 980 Pro NVMe SSD in the M.2_1 slot. It works fine and my Win 10 is on it.
However, my older Samsung 870 EVO NMVe SSD that I installed in the M.2_2 slot is not being recognized. It works fine in the other 2 slots: M.2_3 and M.2_4, just not in the M.2_2!

I tried the 980 Pro in the M.2_2 to rule out an SSD problem and the 980 Pro did not work in the M.2_2 slot either.

Any idea as to why the M.2_2 slot is not working?

PS: I have already installed all the drivers, including the Intel ones manually directly from the support page from Asus website. I think I installed everything except Armoury Crate and AI Suite 3.

Slot 2 is disable in bios. once that is acrtive gpu will drop to 8x since share with gpu. and if you put all, gpu drop to 4x
There is not way to fix it that is part of the chipset z590, enters bios and enable the port. sadly is part of the hero manual that explain more that and that applys to the z590-e also USE port 1(*below cpu) 3 and 4 last 2 so you have full gpu capabilities.

Thank you for the response, a bit disappointed I can not use 2 SSD's with PCIe gen 4, but oh well...it is what it is.
