Before running the USB BIOS Flashback tool, please rename the BIOS file (M13H.CAP) using BIOSRenamer.

 

It has the same CPU microcode as BIOS 2001 did (F8 for a 10900k):

I never had something bad happen with a BIOS update but it always fills my stomach with dread.  

Updating the Intel ME gave me the BSOD death once and had to do a fresh reinstall though.
