Hi,
Was given a Asus z490-f Gaming mainboard. Decided to do a new build around it with the i9-11900k. My other system is built around a 9900k with no issues at all.
I understand the settings of this board are problematic in some cases... The problem being that using the AI stuff etc, causes the CPU to jump all over the place for heat spikes even when the CPU use is still below even 10% actual use.
What do I need to turn off or how do I configure this thing so when it is just sitting at idle, I see a steady temp and when I load a program, it remains that way without jumping to freaking 200F and causing the fans on the AIO radiator to wig out at top speed?
BTW, the AIO is the ASUS ROG Ryujin II 360 RGB all-in-one liquid CPU cooler 360mm Radiator.
And the second question, is how do I get this mainboard to show AIO pump speed? In bios it does NOT show and in Asus's own software it does not show and even on thet Rujiin's own display, it shows 0. AIO does NOT plug into the standard connectors on the mainboard btw, it plugs into a sata power connector and a RGB controller it comes with for that display.
Take it light....
