I was looking at the specs. on a 12th Gen processor and noticed something I did not expect. It stated, the processor is a 125 Watt processor but when in Turbo mode it uses 241 Watts (or something close). Keeping a processor at such a high power usage may shorten its life significantly. So, it may be best to leave the system as it is.
I am even thinking about disabling Turbo mode entirely because the Windows Update process seems to make extensive use of it. I don't really play any games that would need it.
