Hi
Going to install 990 Pro 2TB which is single sided onto Z590-E M2_1 slot
As I see on the M2_1 slot both sides have plastic film?
So should I remove both upper and lower plastic film from M2_1 slot?
Or upper side only to match 990 Pro single sided?
Thanks

You're correct, I deleted my post.
It would go here.
The manual says to remove both film on the thermal pads, the lower one and the one on the heatsink.

Yep, the included:

Screw is smaller than the one on the board and won't tight inside
So the only way is the existing screw on the board which is shown on the first post?
Thanks 🙂

It looks like you can remove the black screw and the screw stand to use it at the 2280 length.

Hi
Seems no need to play with the black screw
First see the whole image please
See the difference between m2 slot 1 and 3?
M2_1 does not have a Q Latch at all
All mobo copies are the same or mine is defected?
Anyway finally I've come up with this setup, correct?
Thanks a lot 🙂

I'm not sure why the Q-Latch screws are too small, you have installed a screw stand correct?
As long as the heatsink can make contact with the ssd, this will be ok.
You can try that, when you get it up and running, you can install HWinfo and check your drive temperature.
I'm using the motherboard heatsinks as well, here is my ssd temperature at idle.

This latest picture is what was present on the mobo.
There was a single extra Q Latch in the box which was smaller in size of screw.
Seems M2_1 does not have a Q-Latch like M2_3, seems shall confirm with support, but thanks for all the kind advise 🙂
