Hi,
I recently swapped out my EVGA GTX-980Ti FTW graphics board for a EVGA RTX-3070 XC3 Ultra Gaming graphics board. I use a case speaker for my ROG Strix Z490-E Gaming mobo so I can hear the reassuring "beep" when it boots.
Ever since putting the new graphics board into the primary PCI-E slot, whenever I boot the system I get the usual short "beep" immediately followed by a louder, longer single "beep". The system boots normally and has no issues rocking the 3D Mark tests, including the Stress Tests.
I have the graphics board powered using two separate 8-pin connectors coming from my 1200 watt PSU.
Any ideas as to what's causing this issue when booting, as compared to my old graphics board?
Thank you!
Bill
