Still not sure about the status of these drivers. For example, why do they not make it onto the ASUS official MB support page? Just curious.

I am equally curious and would really appreciate some clarity regarding this question. Anyone? :3

ASUS is failing to update their official drivers for their motherboards. Their Armory Crate is broke (at least for me). Their ezupdate doesn't keep my E490-E Gaming mobo updated. ASUS officially published BIOS doesn't work without Intel's latest ME (a mysterious Intel thing we must trust if we aren't AMD equipped). I don't trust ASUS officially released items entirely, my mobo simply doesn't work if I go by what ASUS officially publishes. I trust MoKiChU's announcements, they have always resolved issues when I come here looking for solutions.

I followed the instruction for how to clean out old drivers with RAPR and then reinstalled the Chipset drivers etc.
However I now have an "outdated" watchdog driver.

ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XI CODE, Z390.

Hi,

You need these firmware/drivers for your ASUS ROG Maximus X Code motherboard :

[FIRMWARE] Intel ME (H110/B150/H170/Z170/B250/H270/Z270/B365/Z370)

[DRIVERS] Intel Chipset/MEI/SATA/VMD (1xx/2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx)

- Intel Chipset Drivers

- Intel MEI Drivers (Drivers Only)

- Intel SATA AHCI-RAID Drivers (Drivers Only) :

Drivers - 2xx/3xx

[DRIVERS] Intel Ethernet/WiFi/Bluetooth

- Intel Ethernet Drivers (Drivers Only) :

Drivers - I217/I218/I219

[DRIVERS] Realtek Ethernet/WiFi/Bluetooth

- Realtek WiFi Drivers (Drivers Only) :

Drivers - 8723DE/8821CE/8822xE

- Realtek Bluetooth Drivers (Drivers Only)

[DRIVERS] Realtek Audio (Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx & AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx)

You have an ASUS ROG SS3 motherboard, so :

You need Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3) from the first post of the thread.

Follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process, for the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow your UPDATE process.

Hi,

Thank you for answering me, I appreciate everything you do for us!

I installed:

[FIRMWARE] Intel ME (H110/B150/H170/Z170/B250/H270/Z270/B365/Z370)

[DRIVERS] Intel Chipset/MEI/SATA/VMD (1xx/2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx)

I honestly didn't quite understand which driver needs to be installed here - ASMedia USB Drivers!?
