TIPS :

If you want to manage the drivers (remove old/unused drivers for example) that you have in your Windows DriverStore
Use Driver Store Explorer (Right click on "Rapr.exe" > Run as administrator).

If you want better interrupts delivery latency
Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with
MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_Mode_Utility_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).

Have strange issue with Maximus XIII Hero... Went to check Chipset in Device Manager and found it displaying Z390 chipset drivers instead. Also with error: Code 45 Currently this device is not connected to the computer.

I've tried reinstalling the 10.1.18807.8279 WHQL drivers and now Device Manager is not displaying any chipset driver at all...

Hi everyone,

Here is little reminder because too many issues with Intel Chipset drivers that you PM me are due to the fact that you have installed the Intel Chipset drivers from Windows Update - Optional updates.

REMINDER : In order to avoid drivers conflict, I do not advise you to install the drivers from Windows Update - Optional updates if you don't know exactly what you are doing.

Intel VMD drivers? Should I install it on my ASUS TUF Z370 PLUS Gaming with my WD Black SN750NVMe 1TB SSD?

Hello Friends,

I see this message about getting better interrupts with MsiUtility:

-If you want better interrupts delivery latency Enable MSI (Message Signaled-based Interrupts) mode on all your supported devices (see the column "supported modes") with MSI Mode Utility (Right click on "MSI_util_v3.exe" > Run as administrator).-

Im able to enable msi/msix for all available components, what should be the priority low, medium, high or undefined? And does it always improve the performance? Which components recommended for msi high?

Thanks again, apologies if this has been discussed somewhere then kindly point me it.

*Special thanks to -MoKiChU- for your continued support to the community, it is highly appreciated!!

Hi,

You do not have to touch anything in interrupt priority (mostly Undefined for all devices except for NVMe controller devices which it's High).

If your MSI mode supported devices are already checked in MSI mode, you're fine.

Hi,

No, Intel VMD drivers are only for the future motherboards with Intel 6xx series chipsets (Z690-H670-B660-H610) wich will no longer use Intel SATA AHCI-RAID drivers.

Thank you, much appreciate your quick response!!

Hello,

I have an ASUS ROG Strix Z270E Gaming motherboard, with last Windows 11 insider preview build.

On my setup I have 6 x Sata 1TB HDD (4xRaid 10 and 2x Raid 1) and 2 x NVME 128GB SSd in Raid 0 (for operating system).

I had Drivers - 2xx/3xx : 17.9.6.1019 WHQL [02/02/2021] and everything was working almost fine (only problem was that if I run chkdsk on raid 0 it stuck after finish and need to reboot manually, after that it was booting fine).
A few days ago, ASUS release a new bios for compatibility with Windows 11, and I installed that version. After bios update my PC give me a greenscreen- with Innaccesible boot device...and after restart the strange part is that on bios I cannot see my boot device. I turn off the pc and turn on again, the boot device appear in bios, but same error...and again after that the boot device not visible in bios.

First I tried to install old version of bios, but the problem persist. I put again the latest version of bios and make a clean install of Windows 11 (from official ISO). After clean install, everything was working fine, until I installed the Drivers - 2xx/3xx : 17.9.6.1019 WHQL [02/02/2021] - after reboot same problem.

I have installed again Windows, but this time I have installed SATA - RAID drivers from ASUS download page from my motherboard (version 15.9.0.1015) and it seems to work - but the latest drivers are not working anymore (with new or old bios).

Also I have a problem with Realtek drivers (latest version from MoKiChU thread) and Armoury Crate - I have a headset ASUS Strix 700 FUSION - and if I install Armoury Crate for Headset (that use some Sonic Studio) - Sonic Studio III for motherboard will not allply effects - or if the SS III is working the handset one not...this is happening after a recent update of Armour Crate that integrate SS III control on profiles.

Thank you!
