Hi all. I am doing a fresh install of W11 64 v on a computer with a Z590p motherboard. I've updated the bios and installed all the drivers except the chipset. I click on the asus installer , I'm asked for permission to install then... nothing. . The program doesn't appear to run. I think this is why I'm still getting device driver missing (SM bus and other). Any suggestions? Thank you.

try a driver updater app

Thank you for the reply.
I've tried to search for the driver through windows but it doesn't find anything. I then tried to have windows find it searching the chipset driver folder. Same result.
I also used the Armoury Crate app, updated everything and still no change.
I am not 100% sure the problems with my system bus controller are because the chipset drivers aren't installed but that's usually why it has happened in the past.
Is there another 'driver updater app' you're referring to?

Hi,
You need to install your Intel Chipset Drivers :
[DRIVERS] Intel Chipset/MEI/SATA/Serial IO/GNA (1xx/2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx)
- Intel Chipset Drivers
Also for reference, you need these drivers/firmware for your ASUS PRIME Z590-P motherboard (you don't need Intel GNA & iGPU Drivers if you disabled/don't enabled them in your BIOS) :
[DRIVERS] Intel Chipset/MEI/SATA/Serial IO/GNA (1xx/2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx)
- Intel Chipset Drivers
- Intel MEI Drivers (Drivers Only) :
- Intel SATA AHCI-RAID Drivers (Drivers Only) :
- Intel Serial IO Drivers (Drivers Only) :
- Intel GNA Drivers (Drivers Only) :
[DRIVERS] Realtek Ethernet/WiFi/Bluetooth
- Realtek Ethernet Drivers (Drivers Only) :
[DRIVERS] Realtek Audio (AMD 3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/8xx & Intel 2xx/3xx/4xx/5xx/6xx/7xx/8xx)
- Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG/TUF/PRIME/ProArt RTK)

Thank you. I actually went back to asus and saw there was a 'show more' under the chipset drivers. Jeez, how stupid. I came back to tell of my mistake and you had supplied all the links I needed. Thank you.
