Good afternoon, I am using the official bios 0607 and some people recommend 0606 or 0703.

Right now I think everything works fine for me, with other bios I have had flicker on the OLED screen, but with 0607 I don't have that problem.

I also have a small problem that cannot be solved.
When the screen turns off after 15 minutes, all the motherboard, ram and gpu turn off the LEDs, I don't want that to happen, how can I solve it?

Another problem is when the pc is completely turned off and the motherboard stays on the LEDs ...

Thank you very much

Hi Ganja

Sounds like the PC is going into a sleep state after 15 min and thats why all the LEDs turn off... Might want to check you sleep and hibernation setting under the power options in windows.

Also if you want all the motherboard LEDs to turn off when the computer is off you need to change the setting in the bios. The setting you will need to look for is under the ADVANCED tab. Then On board devices configuration. Then change the Led lighting in off state to - STEALTH MODE. Save and restart. Thats should work.

Btw. Intel has all the information regarding the wonky I225-V Behavior and is looking into in for me 🙂 Ill let you know if they provided me a fix 🙂

That's good. And did you try the 0704 bios also?

Well the suspension is disabled, I only have to turn off the screen after 15 minutes.
Hibernation is disabled too.

I'm going to test what you say in BIOS to see if it fixes when I turn it off.

I find it quite nice news, to see if they can solve the LAN I225-V.

Greetings mate

I have not given that Bios a chance, it really works for me all oc quite well and I am not sure to install yet

Great news, even though right now I have uninstalled "armory crate" due to the number of processes that are always in the second plane.
I'm using icue and aura, I don't want to have as many programs that I think can be done with 1.

Thanks

Most likely Z490 will get a new BIOS near the end of March for Rocket Lake, ReSizable BAR.

Personally I do not care about Rocket Lake or ReSizable Bar. I am more interested in a system performance enhancement for 10th gen chips.

I'm running 2004 beta now,.. so far after each BIOS update I need to increase all voltages on otherwise stable profiles. Another BIOS update without performance/memory enhancement for 10th gen is of no use to me.

4600MHz profile needs 1.4V VCCIO/SA
87994

XMP profile needs 1.6V VCCIO/SA
87988

Likely the updated Intel processor microcodes that are included in the BIOS rather than the BIOS itself. This won't change - Asus will continue to include the latest official microcode because they include security vulnerability fixes.

You can mod the newer BIOS with older microcode . That is what I have done - I am on microcode CA just for this (stability) reason.

There are 2009 BIOS out for Apexx XII and Maximus XII provided by Shamino. Would like to see it for the Hero as well.

Thanks geneo,

So BIOS 2004 is using E2 which explains why I need to bump up voltage a bit. You have tried CA, EO and CA seems to be the best option,.. I will try CA mod on 2004, see if that helps. Thanks

Do you have any information on Shamino's 2009 download link for M12E, I can't find the page.
