Hello,

New setup, i9-11900k with Asus rog Z590-E Gaming. I have observed very laggy in the BIOS menu, mouse jumps like every 2 seconds constantly, just upgraded bios to 1007 supposed to be the latest, and still same lag, annoying and hard to control, any one got same issue and a fix maybe?

Thank you

Hi. Do you get a laggy jumpy mouse in the BIOS menu? I checked asus bios udates and gives me the 1007 as the latest, well just checked again ans saya new Version 0902
2021/06/25. Can you please tell me your bios DATE? And how did you find the E17K3IMS.115 ? Would it be an old bios (115) maybe? Did you updated you bios? Thank you for your time and support.. 🙂

Yes, I got the 1007 installed, but still mouse jumpy... Hope a fix soon...

I use an USB HUB where I have my keyboard and mouse connected. This HUB was connected to a RED USB port on the motherboard.
I moved it to a BLUE one and the problem is gone. no more lag for the mose and keyboard in BIOS.

The same problem was on the login screen (windows). I had to wait about 10 seconds on the windows login screen for the mouse and keyboard to become "active".
By changing the USB port the problem was solved.

Ugly solution 😞

The new beta bios for Z590E is 1202. I've been running it for some days.
The final version should come soon as this beta is from October.
Post time increased by 3 seconds. Everything working fine here.

Where did you get 1202BETA from? Do you have a link?
Thanks, Stefan

This is from Safedisk whom works for Asus.

You could try turning off legacy USB, and some power saving functions also.
