2022-10 cumulative update for windows 11 for x64-based systems "KB5018418"

Hi, I have a motherboard Asus Rog Maximus XIII Hero, whith the last bios version installed.

I cannot install the 2022-10 cumulative update for Windows 11 for x64-based systems, because it gives me an error: practically the update seems to install, but when the pc reboot to finalize the installation update, it fails and rollback.

Has someone the same issue or knows how to solve it ?

What error does it give?

You could try the MS System File Checker.

If you have 3rd party antivirus installed, maybe try disabling that before installing.

I have already checked the file system with the command: "sfc /scannow" and all is ok.

The error code should be: 0x800f0922


Have you installed the KB5018418 update ?

I'm running Windows 11 22H2, so installed KB5018427, the equivalent update for the newer OS. It installed without any issues.

I installed KB5018427 on my board yesterday 10/11. I did just redo the install due to a game problem I was having but this update installed fine. The one I show before that is KB5017389.

The numbers are usually a little different for Win 10 and Win 11 updates.
