Z690-F paired with RTX 5090 ASUS Astral Graphics Card

Hi,

I am looking to upgrade my graphics card to a ASUS 5090.  Will also upgrade to the PSU to a 1200W ATX 3.1 standard.

Can anyone advise whether the ASUS ROG Z690-F motherboard will support this?  I am concerned about the 12V 2*6 PIN connection and cannot see if the board supports it.

Have you installed your ASUS RTX 5090?

The 12V 2*6 PIN connection is for your power supply and 5090, no power cables connect to the motherboard for the gpu.

I'm using the ROG Strix Z690-F Gaming WiFi with the ASUS Prime RTX 5080.
