I own a Z390-E installed another CPU and got the following error after first boot:
"sata mode selection must be changed to raid mode to avoid unknown issues"
After pressing F1 and changing different values for testing now reboot is possible.
When i only do Ctrl + Alt + Del booting into Windows is possible and System is running stable.
The error is most known with a low energy CR2032 Bios battery, but my battery is powered well.
I hope that someone has a solution for me.

What CPU were you using that was working? What is the new CPU that you installed? Are you using the latest BIOS version for your board?

I have installed before I5-9500 and now it is a CC150.
Bios is latest version 2101
A problem might be outdated Microcode Version 0xfa.
0x100 should be the latest Version.

Hi @Kommune I believe you are using a CPU meant for Datacenters. Datacenters only run on RAIDs hence your CC150 not supporting SATA mode makes sense to me because a Datacenter CPU will have no need to use consumer grade technologies like E-SATA/SATA. These specialized CPUs are optimized and tested for enterprise technologies.
This is a guess on my part. I do not have any technical material to support this information.
