XFX Radeon HD 7970 Double D GPU Question

I am just wondering if the XFX Radeon HD 7970 Double D will run in quad crossfire with no problems. I have had 4 MSI Lightning 7970s and I had to return them because the fan from the top card rubbed on the bottom card and stopped the fans. What I would like to know is if these cards will have the same problem the msi cards had.

Put waterblocks on them, they will run cooler and definitely you won't have clearance issues...

Hi mate. I think you'll be right with the XFX R7970's their a little bit skinnier than most cards, I have 2 x xfx r7770's and by looking at the 7970's on the net they are in the same cases as the 7770's mine are close but have plenty of room between them. check this link for a pic of my cards,

Ps, one thing I forgot to mention is that i had to trim the top side of the bottom PCIe retainer clip a bit to get the bottom card to lock in..
