I am building a computer right now with Cougar Mil Spec case, a ASUS Tuf gaming X570-plus MBO, a Ryzen 7 3800x ucp, ROG STRIX RX580 8gb gpu after putting everything together and go to start up the rgb lights on the mbo come on, also the white light on the gpu comes on but that is all. I have tried changing the psu, i have removed all components and reseated them, i have tried clearing the cmos, i have shorted out the power switch pins to see if the switch was bad. I have the 8 pin and the 24 pins plugged in but am wondering about the 4 pin if that needs to be connected to the psu? I am wondering if anyone has any ideas? 😞

check with motherboard user manual and the PSU use manual
Intel i5 7200U_ Nvidia 940MX _Windows_11_Enterprise_64bit_22H2_buildno_22621.754

Phsycio94,
No q codes or lights. And yes I have this for memory, CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000) Desktop Memory Model CMK32GX4M2B3000C15

Raju2529,
I did check and it says I can do either or both maybe I will see about getting a cord to connect the 4 pin.

DO NOT forget to connect the 4-pin/8-pin ATX +12V power plug. Otherwise, the systemwill not boot up.

I have the 24 pin and the 8 pin plugged in but the psu didn't have a 4 pin cable.

There are other cables out there but something like this would help.

Thank you, I like that one better than the one Corsair has on there web site.
