Will resizable bar (smart access memory alternative) be enabled on Z390 boards later?

Hey!

I just read this article:
https://www.tomshardware.com/news/asus-firmware-resizable-bar-support-intel-z490-motherboards#:~:tex...

My question is, will there be updates for older platforms (such as Z390) later that will enable this function?

Thanks!

There's a petition on change.org; I honestly can't imagine how they could justify ditching Z370/90 owners when the CPUs supported on the platforms are nowhere near obsolete or outdated. Being pressured to upgrade for little performance gain and a significant amount of money is ludicrous.

Just thought I would add my my 2 cents. If you are interested in seeing this feature added, please consider signing the petition to add the "resizable bar" (smart access memory) feature to the 300 series of Intel motherboards. The petition will be sent to all MB manufacturers. (AsRock, Gigabyte, Asus, etc): http://chng.it/LKLksG4yQv
