Will PCIe SSD in M.2 socket on motherboard boot in Leagacy Mode?

Greetings!

I just completed my build last month and installed Win10 Pro on a Seagate 1TB HDD in Legacy Mode. Win10 said something about only installing in UEFI on 3TB & higher HDD & defaulted to Legacy. I already figured out that I needed to change CSM in BIOS to "UEFI and Legacy OPROM" to boot from the HDD.

This is my first experience with SSDs.

Does it matter which M.2 slot I install it in, M.2_1 or M.2_2? I'm guessing M.2_1

I have a PCIe M.2 SSD coming today and am going to clone the HDD to the SDD in the M.2 socket on the motherboard. Just wondering if it will boot in Legacy after cloning?

After installing the SSD, are there any settings I need to change in BIOS? Do I need to go into Disk Management to partition and format it before I use Samsung Magician to clone my HDD to it? Or will Magician take care of that?

Thanks in advance!

Nevermind, I got it figured out. I couldn't find where to delete my post.
